AI-automated access for service vehicles: garbage, utility, police and more
Exclusive to GateGuard SG: the community defines per-service access rules and schedules, the AI recognizes each vehicle and lets it in with zero human interaction — with a push notification to all residents.

Exclusive to GateGuard SG (Guard-less) — the version designed to operate with no security staff at the gatehouse.
What it does
The service vehicles a community must let in — garbage collection, electric utility, police, water trucks, gardening and any other the committee defines — no longer depend on someone opening the gate for them. GateGuard SG recognizes them and grants access fully automatically, with AI.
How? The community defines a rule set per service inside the GateGuard panel: which vehicles, in which time windows and with what validity. For example: "garbage truck, Tuesdays and Fridays 7:00 to 9:00 AM". From that moment, when the truck arrives within its window, the AI recognizes it, the barrier opens and it enters — without talking to any human. Outside the defined window, access is simply not granted.
And since everyone in a community must know who is circulating, as soon as access is granted the system sends a push notification to all residents that the service is entering: "The garbage collection truck has entered". Nobody is surprised to see the vehicle go by, and the access is on record.
What it is for
In a traditional community, every arriving service vehicle triggers the same ritual: the guard looks out, recognizes the truck (or doesn't), decides whether to open, writes it down — and if he is eating, in the bathroom or handling another access, the truck waits with the engine running, blocking the entrance.
In a guard-less community, that ritual doesn't even exist: there is no one to ask to open up. That is where this feature becomes essential — the difference between a smooth SG operation and a service stuck at the gate.
Rule-based automated access turns the repetitive human decision into a policy the community defines once: which services, in which windows. The AI executes it the same every day, at 7:00 AM on any Tuesday or on a holiday, resident notifications included. Total control, zero interaction.
Benefits
- Zero friction for services: the garbage truck, the utility van or the patrol car enter within their window without stopping, without talking to anyone, without waiting.
- Control by real schedules: each service enters only within the windows the community defined — outside the window there is no access, and the attempt is logged.
- The whole community informed: push notification to all residents at the moment of access — full transparency over who is circulating and when.
- 100% guard-less operation: the decision to open no longer depends on a person; the community defines the policy and the AI executes it.
- Record of every access: every service entry is logged with image, time and applied rule — auditable from the panel.
- Living rules: the committee can create, adjust or deactivate rules whenever the garbage provider, watering schedule or any service changes — all from the panel, no re-installations.
FAQ
Which services can I automate?
Those the community defines: garbage collection, electric utility, police, water trucks, gardening, pool maintenance, recurring courier — any service vehicle you want to create a scheduled access rule for.
What if the vehicle arrives outside the defined window?
Access is not granted. The event is logged and can be escalated under the community's rules — for example, notifying the committee to decide an exceptional manual authorization.
How do residents know a service came in?
As soon as access is granted, all residents receive a push notification in their app naming the service: for example, "The garbage collection truck has entered". It is automatic — nobody has to report it.
Which versions include it?
It is exclusive to GateGuard SG (Guard-less), because that is where access to services without human interaction becomes critical: there is no gatehouse or guard managing those entries.
